Scandinavian recipe book; or 'guide to the cheapest and best way to cook, stew, bake, salt, butcher, pickle and prepare the common dishes found in the home, etc.' Illustrated with several black & white reproductions, including frontis. of housewife & fish, as well as cuts of pig, calf, sheep, & ox. Text in Danish blackletter. Good only. Binding shaken, front hinge starting from top. Moderate edgewear, with closed tear at crown of spine. Most of text moderately browned; corner of p. 79 excised & laid in. No writing.
