Engraved frontis. Illustrated with elaborate, handsome headpieces. Good. Covers rubbed, heavily at extremities with small scrapes here and there, with small matter missing from crown of spine. Front flyleaf detached but present. Ex-library pocket to rear endpapers, call numbers to spine, no other ex-lib markings. Text otherwise rather clean and bright, some offsetting to title page (from frontis.). Binding square and tight.
